OK. Eloise and I have had 2 incredible road trips. The first trip was to Spokane, Washington. We took a day and half to drive there and a day and half back. That gave us 2 days to visit. In the past, if I survived the drive, I would have had a week or more to recover. This would have included a full regimen of medications too. This trip, the day after we got back, I was feeling as good as before we left! What a blessing to see Eloise’s mother while we were there. This made the memories of that trip so much more special.
Then 2 weeks later, we drove to Southern California to see Eloise’s father. We took Ellie Rae with us, which was a treat, as this gave Dee a chance to get to know Ellie Rae too. We left Friday, spent all day Saturday with Dee and drove home on Sunday. Again, there were no residual effects of the driving time on Monday. Dee is now a preferred customer too.
I’d like to be able to say that I’ve had no pain, but that isn’t so. I have had LESS pain though. Part of the pain amount has been caused by the swelling that used to occur. This swelling is now almost non-existent. So I’m still off anti-inflammatories and pain meds are almost down to nothing.
On the financial side, the fourth month will bring an estimated minimum net (after all costs) of $500. More on this after the months end.
